I started engaging in more serious and regular exercise as a young adult. At that time, I realized that my usual lifestyle was not leading me in a good direction. Gym conditioning made up a large part of my time dedicated to sports, which gradually transitioned into the world of krav-maga and combat sports (boxing, kickboxing, muay thai). I was always looking for the right form of training that ensures the development of strength and muscle mass while complementing my other sports activities. This is how I arrived at functional training, which also defines my own workouts.
The personal trainer's job is not to count to eight, but to guide you towards a specific goal based on numerous variables. Personal training is a collaboration that requires us to work as a team for its success. This requires commitment from both parties. When defining goals, you need to understand that it doesn't happen immediately, whether it's about weight loss, muscle building, or developing other skills and abilities.
I consider it important that you do not experience training as a chore or a task to check off, but as an activity that energizes you, tires you out pleasantly, and makes you feel satisfied. I structure my classes based on the principles of functional training, where we work with fundamental human movement patterns. This is quality work, not quantity, meaning that it's not about chasing weights, but about good and precise execution.
What you can expect from me:
- personalized training plan
- mobility assessment and development
- teaching, retraining, and correcting fundamental human movement patterns
- development of coordination skills
- development of conditional abilities: strength, endurance, speed
- body weight optimization (increasing muscle mass, reducing body fat)
